ABOUT THE PROJECT

The Architectural Upgrade of Athens International Airport is the first pilot project of A.I.A. It is also the first project of A.I.A. to integrate BIM as part of the project delivery. Our team has been selected, following a closed tender between practices specializing in BIM, to develop the preliminary design for the architectural upgrade of the Arrivals’ Concourse. The scope of works included as well public areas, retail, and airport arrival areas amongst others. Our close collaboration with the technical department of A.I.A. ensured a smooth project delivery and the successful production of the final architectural component.
